Fortune International was first operated in 1998 in South China work on Quality Control assignment for a major U.S. furniture importer. The co***ny was set up by Tony Chou, an ex-executive of then Universal Furniture who has vast working experience in both Taiwan and Singapore. In the early 80¡¯s, Tony personally worked export projects for Maruni Co., Ltd. and Kosuga Furniture in Taiwan for Japan market.
Following the improvement of infrastructure and the encouragement of individual enterprises by the Chinese Authority, manufacture of furniture industry grew rapidly in China over the past decade.
